Broken rails delay trains through Carnoustie

East coast train travellers faced delays in the service between Dundee and Aberdeen because of “broken rails” at Carnoustie.

The problem occurred on Monday morning and disrupted services until the problem was resolved just before 4pm.

Those delayed by 30 minutes or more can claim compensation via scotrail.co.uk/delay-repay.
