The cash was taken from the Plough Inn in Market Street between 1.15am and 8am on Saturday, September 14. Officers are keen to speak to a man who was wearing a white-coloured hooded top and was seen in the area during these times. Anyone with any information that may be useful is being urged contact Police Scotland, Tayside Division on 101, or any police officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
