A family tribute has been paid to a former Angus man after his death in a road accident.
Father-of-two Stuart Burns, who left Carnoustie to start a family in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, died following the accident on a work’s night out.
The 41-year-old lived with his partner Ann Marks and their two daughters, aged 20 and seven.
He died on the A448 Bromsgrove Highway after a collision involving three vehicles on the Redditch-bound carriageway at about 6am last Saturday.
He was found after his family reported him missing that morning. Ms Marks paid tribute to the former Kinloch Primary and Carnoustie High School pupil.
She said: “He was loving and caring, and would do anything for me and the kids.
“We are going to keep things as normal as possible and celebrate Christmas for the sake of our youngest, because that is what Stuart would have wanted.”
