Lorry crash causes traffic chaos on Angus dual carriageway
ByRichard Watt
An incident on the A90 involving a lorry caused traffic chaos on Monday afternoon.
Travellers heading north towards Brechin were forced to wait at least an hour as the vehicle was moved from both lanes of the Dundee to Aberdeen dual carriageway.
The driver received medical attention from paramedics at the scene, a quarter of a mile from the Brechin interchange at Stracathro, but it is understood his injuries are not serious.
Both lanes of the northbound carriageway are closed as of 1.45pm, with heavy goods vehicles being queued and cars diverted via the A92.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible whilst the incident is on-going.
