Cattle saved from fire at Angus farm

Cattle were evacuated from an Angus farm shed today during a major blaze.

Firefighters were called to Lindertis farm near Kirriemuir at around 10.30am after around 400 straw bales caught fire.

Two crews from Forfar joined teams from Alyth and Kirriemuir at the scene of the blaze, which is still ongoing.

The cattle were moved to another building after the 30m by 50m shed went up in flames with the beasts still inside.
