Two due in court as police confirm human remains found in Montrose were local woman Kim MacKenzie

Human remains found in Montrose have been formally identified as belonging to local mum Kimberley MacKenzie.
Police have also confirmed that a 28-year-old woman detained on Friday has now been charged “in relation to murder”.
Local man Steven Jackson, 39, was charged on Friday.
Both are due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Monday.
Confirming the identity of the remains, a Police Scotland spokesman said: “The family of Kim MacKenzie have been updated with these latest developments and are being supported by police family liaison officers.”
Mum Helen and dad Terence were too upset to comment at their Montrose home today.A Montrose street at the centre of the investigation remains sealed off for a third day following the discovery of Ms MacKenzie’s body parts in a wheelie bin.Residents woke up to find Market Street still cordoned off as the trawl for clues continues. Police have said investigations are likely to go on for a considerable time.
Another two bunches of flowers were also left at the scene with neighbours continuing to have to sign in and out of the police cordon.
