Rangers fans’ Forfar flares trial set for Novermber 19

The trial of two Rangers FC fans accused of setting off flares at their team’s match against Forfar Athletic in August is scheduled to take place on November 19.
Iain Munro, 19, of Broom Terrace, Johnstone, Renfrewshire, and Ian Wilson, Morris Crescent, Kilmarnock, had their case continued to trial at court.
Munro is accused of throwing a flare into the crowd at the west terracing area at Station Park on August 3.
Wilson is accused of throwing a flare over the heads of people in the crowd so that it landed on the football pitch while the cup game was under way on the same date.
Wilson is also charged with possessing cocaine at the ground on the same date.
