Emergency services are treating a man for injuries after an incident in Angus.
Rail services were disrupted at Montrose rail bridge for over an hour “due to a trespass incident”, British Transport Police confirmed.
Police cordoned off an area of the bridge between 1.20pm and 2.40pm, and Montrose lifeboat is also understood to have been sent to the scene, at the Montrose Basin.
Services through the station were disrupted as a result.
ScotRail arranged alternative transport for customers affected by the incident.
A ScotRail spokesman said: “We would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our control.”
