Regulars at an Angus pub were left star struck when a celebrity visited their watering hole.
Customers at the Osnaburg Bar in Forfar were stunned when model and author Katie Piper strolled into the bar to film scenes for a new Channel 4 programme.
The TV show host was in town to meet up with one of the Oz’s regulars, who is set to feature in an episode of a new show called Undo Me.
The programme follows the model around the country as she speaks to people who have made regrettable decisions with their bodies, such as getting embarrassing tattoos, botched plastic surgery or damaging their hair through constant treatments.
Katie was forced to go through her own traumatic experience under the surgeon’s knife after being the victim of an acid attack arranged by a jealous partner.
The new show aims to use Katie’s experience to help other people overcome the issues they have with their appearance.
The star spoke to one of the pub’s regulars who will feature on the show and sampled Scotland’s other national drink, Irn Bru, before later sharing pictures with the staff on the Pub’s Facebook page.
Owner of the Oz Karen Kennedy said it was great to meet Katie.
“She was really lovely and just down to earth,” said Karen. “She sat and had a good chat in front of the cameras and our customer who is going to be featuring in the show.
“It was quite inspirational. She is a very confident woman and a nice person.
“She spoke to all the locals and got on really well with everyone.”
