VIDEO: Arbroath flats raided in high-profile police operation

A number of houses in Arbroath were raided in a major police sting on Thursday morning.
At least five properties in the Noran Avenue area of the town were raided as an estimated 60 police officers began work on Operation Trillium.
The raids took place simultaneously at around 11.30am.
A number of suspects were detained following the bust, which comes on the back of a similar intelligence-led campaign called Operation Shrug in October last year.
Police Scotland Tayside Division commander for Angus Gordon Milne issued a strong message to the community in the wake of the raids and vowed to carry on the fight.
He said: “I said to the people of Arbroath that we are in this for the long haul. We are not going to stop.”
