A Kirriemuir woman who admitted breaching an anti-social behaviour order has had sentence on her deferred to prove she can behave.
Margaret Allan, 37, of Middlefield Avenue, admitted breaching the asbo by shouting and swearing and repeatedly slamming doors at her home address between September 20 and October 8 last year.
The two-year court order imposed on her in July 2014 prohibits her from playing loud music, banging or slamming doors, banging on floors or walls, shouting and swearing and otherwise creating noise or nuisance.
Depute fiscal Jill Drummond said neighbours had complained of an escalation of noise on September 20, which had continued into the early hours of the following day.
The police had been called.
A similar bout of noise on October 8 led to neighbours calling the police again.
Solicitor Billy Rennie said Allan had not been in trouble prior to the asbo and it had been a difficult time for the family.
He said the factors that led to the order being put in place were not solely down to the accused.
Mr Rennie said the asbo remained in place and there were no ongoing complaints and no further problems with neighbours.
Sheriff Pinio Di Emidio said Allan appeared as a first offender.
He deferred sentence on her for six months for her to be of good behaviour.
