Mr Leslie, who had been in an Aberdeen nursing home, moved to Horsham in Sussex five weeks ago to live with his son, Andrew, and wife Carol. Mr Leslie was educated at Mackie Academy and studied for his degree in dentistry at Edinburgh. He took over an existing practice in Stonehaven in 1958, and retired in 1991. In his younger days he was a keen footballer and was a founder member of the Stonehaven Swifts. He was a former president of the Stonehaven Rotary Club and was a member of the Stonehaven Heritage Society. After his first wife Nellie died he wed Sheila, who died just weeks before him. He is survived by his son and two grandchildren.
