A capacity crowd of boxing fans gathered in Arbroath for a charity boxing event.
The annual showpiece in the town, organised this year by John Cooper and Marti Johnstone, attracted fans from far and wide and was hailed a success.
All boxers taking part at the event, held in the town’s Community Centre, were at amateur level and were sponsored by friends and local business to help raise funds for their nominated charities.
Referee on the night was Mike Holm with Eric Buick as the compere.
During the half-time break the audience were entertained by dancing group Invasion and the girls also provided the additional role of ring girls between bouts, holding up the round number cards.
A half-time raffle also took place, with the top prize of a signed boxing glove donated by WBO Lightweight World Champion Ricky Burns, from Coatbridge.
The coveted prize was won by boxing enthusiast Joe McLean from Arbroath.
