Police are hunting for a man who indecently exposed himself to a woman in an Angus park in the early hours of Saturday.
The woman in her forties was walking in Spider Park, Arbroath, at 2am when the incident took place. Alarmed by the man’s actions, she contacted the police.
He is described as being in his mid to late twenties, 5ft 3in to 5ft 5in, of average build, with fair skin and straight dark brown hair, which is parted to the right.
He was wearing a waist-length dark blue lightweight jacket, white skinny jeans and what were possibly light-coloured sandshoes. He also wore dark-rimmed glasses and spoke with a polite Scots accent.
Door-to-door inquiries were carried out in the area throughout the weekend and police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
A police events caravan was sited on East Abbey Street on Saturday to encourage members of the public to provide information.
Both entrances to the park were taped off by police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101.
