Police called to incident at Carnoustie High School

A teenager has been reported after police were called to Carnoustie High School following a disturbance.

Officers attended on Wednesday amid concerns for a pupil’s medical condition.

A spokeswoman for Tayside Division of Police Scotland confirmed officer attendance.

She said: “Police Scotland attended at a school in Carnoustie at 9.30am on Wednesday January 21 following a disturbance.

“A 15-year-old will be reported to the youth justice assessor.”

A spokeswoman for Angus Council said: “We can confirm that an incident took place at the school.”
