An Angus care home had its fourth nurse charged with misconduct in a four-month period.
Janet Cochran is accused of manhandling a patient and speaking to her in an aggressive manner at Lochbank Manor Care Home in Forfar. Cochran is alleged to have spoken to a resident in an aggressive voice and roughly handled her arm.
She is also accused of having “rushed” the patient to her room and with being unfit to practice after the alleged misconduct in September 2011.
The investigation by the Nursing and Midwifery Council follows allegations against three other nurses.
Susan Sharp was struck off by the Nursing and Midwifery Council in January after abusing elderly residents at the Graham Crescent home. Since then Victoria Henderson and Kathleen Buchan have had allegations made against them.
Former manager Buchan has been charged with 16 counts of misconduct between September 2010 and April 2011. Henderson allegedly took additional breaks on at least seven occasions between May and September 2011.
She also allegedly failed to update the care plans of four patients. Henderson is charged with giving a patient two or more medications at the same time without cleaning the tube between drugs.
