It’s all Greek to author Sandy Dallas at Brechin book launch
ByRichard Watt
An Angus man is to launch his memoirs on life in Greece this week.
Alexander Dallas (Sandy) has written a personal account of his move to Thassos for the “simple life”.
Mr Dallas lived in Brechin and worked with Coventry Gauge & Tool (latterly Matrix Engineering) and was involved in the re-establishment of the Boys’ Brigade company in Brechin in the late 1970s.
He then continued his work with Engineering Apprentices at Angus College in Arbroath.
From there he retired, and his story is told in his book Feta Attraction.
Mr Dallas will sign copies of his book in the Caledonian Hotel, Southesk Street, Brechin on Friday January 16 from 6pm.
