The latest step has been taken in fundraising towards a £160,000 skatepark in Arbroath.
Two years ago the plans were put forward by local teenagers who, fed up with being moved on from their informal biking, skating and boarding spots, decided to act.
Various fundraising events have taken place already to raise the cash for the park, which will be at the West Links.
More than £10,000 has already been raised and the Angus Zumbathon on Saturday will add thousands to the pot.
The event raised £7,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer last year.
Arbroath Skatepark Project (ASP) Club chairwoman Jillian Low said: “At the moment, the estimated cost is approximately £160,000, the bulk of which will need to come from external funding.
“Angus Council’s external funding team are helping us to source funding, and gather all the information needed to increase our chance of being successful in our applications.”
All entry fees (£6) will go to ASP Club with sponsor money to benefit Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
