Concern for man reported missing in Forfar area

Police are appealing for information on a man reported missing from the Forfar area.

Michael White, 45, was last seen at about 5.15 this morning. Police say there are reasons to be concerned for his welfare.

He is 5ft 6in, slim with short light hair and is believed to be wearing a pale coloured thick checked shirt and jeans with a tear in the knee.

Anyone with any information is asked to phone police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.UPDATE: Police say they have found a body.
