An Angus teenager who has attended a dermatology clinic since he was a child this week donated a selection of toys to the unit.
Scott Cameron (13), from Inverkeilor, was at Stracathro Hospital on Wednesday to hand over the boys’ and girls’ toys to staff.
The Arbroath Academy pupil said he wanted to make visits a little nicer for other children who would be attending in the future.
Last year he raised money for the British Skin Foundation and was nominated to receive funding from the Arbroath Tutties in the Park fund-raising day.
The money from the event goes to support local charities and organisations in Angus and Scott decided to donate his £200 to buy the toys.
Dermatology consultant Dr Sue Lewis-Jones, who accepted the gifts, has been leading the paediatric clinic since the dermatology department opened at Stracathro six years ago.
Colleagues presented her with flowers and an engraved vase to mark her retirement from the service this week.
