Super snapper Brandon Warden saw off hundreds of competitors to take the crown in the Top Tot Photographer of the Year. His work will now adorn a billboard in the heart of Dundee for two weeks after he wowed the judges with his entry Meerkats. Tens of thousands of people will pass by the large 48-sheet poster in East Dock Street. Proud mum Shona Warden said, “We thought it was worth entering but didn’t think we’d win the whole thing. “At most we thought it might win the Scottish section but it won the whole competition.” She added, “He has been very excited telling everyone he’s famous and also his friends at school.” Brandon’s shot, which was taken during a summer trip to Blair Drummond Safari Park, scooped him a large haul of new toys and £1000. Shona said, “He was very excited, and even more excited about the toys than the money.”
