A signed photograph showing Rod Stewart cheering on Celtic during a match against Dundee United at Tannadice is to be auctioned for charity in Dundee tonight.
The singer and Celtic fan was snapped basking in the glory of Celtic’s title triumph in 2008 after they beat United 1-0.
The photograph, which shows Stewart beaming with joy, will be auctioned at the Valentine’s Ball organised by the Ninewells Cancer Campaign.
It was taken by former Courier photographer Ronnie Cathro.
The event is to be held in the Invercarse Hotel, and all funds raised from its sale will ultimately support the Jacqui Wood Cancer Centre.
As well as the Rod Stewart autographed photograph, a £4,000 Catriona Millar original painting will be on display for auction for the cause.
After being on show at the Invercarse, it will be exhibited at the Q Gallery in Nethergate and auctioned later in the year.
The Aberdeenshire artist also donated 25 limited edition, signed prints of the painting for the charity and the first of these is to go to the highest bidder.
