Father-and-son landlords in Dundee have been toasting receiving plaudits for the quality of their real ales.
Jonathan Stewart, owner of the Royal Arch pub in Broughty Ferry, and his son, also Jonathan, landlord of the Speedwell Tavern in Perth Road, Dundee, were among those recognised by branch members of the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra) last week.
Both pubs appeared in the listings for Camra’s Good Beer Guide 2015, which has just been announced.
Local branch members chose the pubs following visits to check on the quality of the real ales on offer.
Also recognised were the Fisherman’s Tavern and Ship Inn, The Bank Bar, The Capitol, The Counting House, Drouthies and The Phoenix in Dundee, and The Milton Inn, Monifieth.
