Private parking charges readers share more tales of woe
BySteven Dinnie
Private parking charges continue to be a major talking point in Dundee.
Earlier this week we revealed the case of Carly Mackie, who has been hit with an amazing £18,500 demand for parking outside her own home at City Quay.
Well, the stories keep coming.
In Wednesday’s paper we tell the tale of a City Quay man who received the oddest parking charge we’ve yet seen. We also hear from a mother who was issued with a fine while helping her daughter, who has a disability, out of the car.
Also, an ex-fraud squad police officer speaks on the subject of parking fines, and gives advice to readers about how they can start to fight back against notices they receive in the post.
See the latest, only in Wednesday’s Courier.
