Boiler problems force Dundee Dental Hospital to postpone appointments
ByAlan Wilson
Dundee Dental Hospital has been forced to postpone appointments over the next two days after problems with the heating and hot water supply system.
As a result of the temporary problem, NHS Tayside says Thursday’s and Friday’s appointments will have to be put back.
A spokeswoman said the problem was affecting staff’s ability to see and treat all of their patients and as a result all patients who have appointments on either day will need to be rescheduled.
“To minimise disruption, these patients have been contacted and messages have been left where we have been unable to speak to them directly.
“We would ask that all patients who have been left a message please call Dundee Dental Hospital prior to travelling for their appointment.
“Dundee Dental Hospital will continue to see emergency patients and some patients who are due to be seen for the first time but please contact the Dental Hospital prior to attending.
“Repairs are currently under way to repair the fault. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
