Dundee Utd fans raise cash to send disadvantaged supporters to league cup final with Celtic
ByAndrew Liddle
Disadvantaged Dundee Utd fans will be able to see their heroes at next month’s League Cup final after big-hearted supporters raised more than £1500.
United for All launched the appeal on February 13 and are already close to their target of receiving £2000 in donations.
The group previously raised more than £23000 to help disadvantaged fans travel to the Scottish Cup Final last year.
David Mullholland, Chairman of United for All, said: “We are raising funds to help those who can’t afford to attend the Scottish League Cup Final to support Dundee United.
“We will ensure that all those going are worthy causes and work in partnership with other charities in Dundee.”
Dundee United will face Celtic in the Scottish League Cup Final at Hampden Park on March 15.
