Police are continuing inquiries into the death of Monifieth woman Linda Crosbie, who was involved in a collision with a car in Dundee at the weekend.
It is understood a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal on Tuesday regarding the death of Linda (44), who died after she was involved in an accident while crossing the city’s Riverside Drive in the early hours of Sunday.
Mrs Crosbie and friend Barrie Alexander had been attempting to cross the road near the traffic lights at Discovery Point when the accident, involving a Honda Civic CRX travelling westbound, occurred.
The pair were rushed by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital, with Mr Alexander suffering injuries to his spine and the base of his skull.

Chief Inspector Sandy Bowman said a “very detailed” crash investigation would continue into the accident.
