The hunt is still on for two violent robbers nearly two weeks after they attacked a Dundee cash and carry boss and stole around £10,000 from him.
The pair were seen on CCTV assaulting and robbing businessman Huan Hua Pang outside the Wing Fung cash and carry in Dundee’s Whittle Place on December 30.
The 61-year-old victim was pushed to the ground, with one CCTV still showing one of Mr Pang’s assailants aiming a punch at him as he cowers from their onslaught at steps close to the warehouse.
The robbers fled with a laptop-style bag they had wrenched from Mr Pang’s grasp. It contained around £10,000 in cash, keys, bank cards and a number of chequebooks.
Detective Chief Inspector Shaun McKillop, head of CID, said officers were continuing to scrutinise images from the scene and interviewing potential witnesses.
He said, “The inquiry is continuing. Detective officers are still reviewing CCTV and talking to a number of witnesses identified through vehicle stops and appeals we did at the time.”
The stills show two men, both of slim build and thought to be in their 20s, walking through the thick snow outside the cash and carry warehouse.
Police believe the pair made their way to a getaway car they had waiting nearby. It is also possible the pair may have been in the grounds of Camperdown Park with a vehicle prior to the raid.
The first suspect is around 5ft 10in and was wearing a dark grey hooded top with reflective markings. His accomplice was wearing light-coloured clothing possibly a matching hooded top and bottoms and the top may have had buttons down the front.
