The incident occurred in the Yeaman’s Lane area between 4pm and 5pm on Monday. The boy was pushed to the ground by the older youth, who then stole his bike. Police said that the male responsible was approximately 13 or 14 years old. At the time of the incident he was wearing a hooded top with red, yellow and grey horizontal stripes, black jogging bottoms and black trainers. After stealing the bike, he cycled away towards the Lochee underpass. His victim was taken to hospital for treatment and had his hand put in a cast.
