The fun and excitement of science was brought to the fore on Sunday as Dundee Science Centre opened its doors to the public free of charge.
The family fun day was held as part of Dundee Science Festival, the first of two such events throughout the fortnight-long campaign.
As well as enjoying hands-on workshops and interactive exhibits, visitors were able to take part in activities with local scientists.
Alexandra Forrest, festivals and events officer at Dundee Science Centre, said: ”It’s a fantastic opportunity for locals, and those visiting Dundee, to explore the many exciting and relevant discoveries being made in this area, as well as enjoying the many activities within Dundee Science Centre itself.”
The next family fun day will be held on Sunday November 13, the final day of the festival.Find out more at www.dundeesciencefestival.org
