Marketing agencies invited to show how they would sell Dundee to the world

A new marketing agency is being sought by Dundee City Council to lead the next phase of the ”One City, Many Discoveries” campaign.
Edinburgh firm The Leith Agency has reached the end of its contract for the campaign, which promotes the city as a place to live, work, visit and invest in.
Those vying for the new contract can submit completed tenders up until December 16, with an estimated award date of December 19.
A budget of £100,000 will be at the disposal of the winning firm.
In 2009, the council came under fire for appointing a company from Leith to design and build the dundee.com website.
Local designers complained they were not given the opportunity to bid for the contract, but the council said The Leith Agency was the most appropriate.
The award-winning firm was selected from a shortlist of six companies, including two from Dundee. They were awarded £35,000 to oversee the campaign.
