Man due in court after alleged stabbing in Blacklock Crescent

A man staggered past a family barbecue and a primary school after allegedly being stabbed in the stomach in Dundee.
Stewart Mackie (30) remains in a serious condition in Ninewells Hospital following an incident at a house on Blacklock Crescent on Sunday.
A man was later detained by police and is expected to appear in court today.
Officers remained at the scene on Monday and the house was cordoned off. Neighbours reported hearing shouting at around 6.40pm on Sunday.
Mr Mackie staggered past nearby St Vincent’s Primary School and down Amour Place, where he was picked up by an ambulance.
A spokesman for Tayside Police said: ”A 45-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
”A 30-year-old man suffered a stomach injury as a result of the incident and was taken to Ninewells Hospital where he is described as being in a serious but stable condition.”
