Hundreds of people enjoyed a cracking Easter Sunday at Camperdown Park in Dundee.
Large crowds were attracted to the extravaganza featuring a host of activities for the family.
There was music, street theatre, sports, trick riding demonstrations, play sessions and face painting, but many of those present got just as much fun out of rolling the Easter eggs they brought along for the occasion.
The Campbell family of Barnhill in Dundee made their traditional visit, and enjoyed themselves as much as in previous years.
”This is a great event for everyone and not just the children,” said mother Dawn. ”Our daughter Amy is now five but we’ve been coming here every year since she was born and we love it.
”It’s very good of the council to organise all these things here for the people to come and enjoy at Easter.”
As well as Amy and mum Dawn, the Campbell contingent included dad Malcolm and grandparents Colin and Sandra from Denoon Terrace.
Council staff were on duty at the park’s entrances to control the traffic and were able to direct the lines of cars to the parking section without difficulty.
Elsewhere, Caird Park attracted some families out rolling their eggs but nothing like the crowds attracted in previous years.
Barnhill Rock Garden was another popular venue.
