Dundee students are set for some retail therapy when the Overgate hosts its annual student lock-in.
To help banish the post-fresher’s week blues and welcome Dundee’s new and returning students, the shopping centre will host its student-only event from 6/30-9pm on Wednesday.
Following the success of previous years, centre bosses promise the latest lock-in will be bigger than ever before, with Radio 1xtra regular and guest DJ Melody Kane flying in especially to take to the decks.
Alongside the entertainment, acoustic sessions and party atmosphere courtesy of event partner Fat Sam’s shoppers will have exclusive access to the centre and its stores.
Overgate manager David Carson said: ”The event has grown bigger and better and this year there will be more offers, discounts, competitions and fun than ever before.
”We’ve been working closely with Fat Sam’s to make sure this year’s event is the best yet.”
Those wishing to attend must show a valid student card to gain entry.
