The man involved in a collision with a bus in Dundee city centre more than a week ago is still in a ”serious but stable” condition in Ninewells Hospital.
The 53-year-old, who has not been named, suffered a head injury in the incident involving a No 22 bus at the junction of Commercial Street and Exchange Street.
A police spokeswoman confirmed investigations had been carried but no one had been charged.
Bus operators National Express Dundee launched an internal probe but it is understood the collision is being treated as an accident.
The bus driver, who is from the Charleston area, has not been back to work since the incident. Colleagues said he was ”devastated” and was too shaken and upset to return.
A separate investigation into how a bus burst into flames in Fintry Road last Wednesday, forcing the driver and a passenger to flee, is continuing. The bus was severely damaged.
