Police investigate after 10-year-old girl is approached by van driver in Dundee

Police have launched an investigation after a van driver approached a ten-year-old girl in Dundee.
The girl was upset after the man stopped his vehicle to speak to her in the Kirkton area of the city on Saturday.
She did not know him and did not get into his vehicle, but the incident was seen by concerned witnesses who reported it to the police.
Officers are keen to the trace the driver of the white transit-style van who was seen speaking with the youngster in Dunmore Street at around 5pm.
He is described as being about 60 years of age, with short hair at the back and sides but longer on top. He was wearing a black-coloured T shirt and black-coloured jeans.
Anyone with information is being urged to call Police Scotland on 101 or speak to any officer.
