Queen’s Baton Relay: They’ll be dancing in the streets of Dundee

Even rain cannot dampen the Commonwealth Games spirit as Dundee makes final plans to host the Queen’s Baton Relay on Friday.
Lord Provost Bob Duncan, a piper and dancers were preparing the ground in City Square.
The square will be transformed into a dance floor at 3pm on Friday when dancers from all over Dundee will be strutting their stuff.
Mr Duncan said: “We’re counting down the days now and cannot wait to welcome the baton to Dundee.”
“I hope the ceilidh will get people excited about the games and I look forward to seeing the dancers in City Square for what will be an excellent day.”
