Dundee drug dealers jailed for selling heroin worth over £180,000

Three men caught selling heroin worth more than £180,000 in Dundee have been jailed.

Robert Dick, 41, Alan Shaw, 48, and Ian Hendry, 46, were arrested for selling on the drugs they had sourced from the Liverpool area.

Detectives caught them in February 2011 after gathering intelligence on their operation.

The trio admitted to being involved in the supply of heroin between January 7, 2011 and February 22, 2011 last month.

Lady Scott sentenced Dick, of Forres Avenue, and Shaw, of Provost Road, to five years each while Hendry, of Ireland Street, Carnoustie, was given 32 months behind bars.
