Dundee midfielder returns to Stenhousemuir on loan

Stenhousemuir have taken Dundee midfielder Jamie Reid back to the club for a second time on loan.

The 20-year-old, who scored on his Dens debut in May 2012, was a stand-out at the Warriors during a temporary spell in 2013, but an ankle injury slowed his progress.

A loan spell at Montrose got Reid playing again last season and he has opted to join the Ochilview side for a year, with their manager Scott Booth saying: “I have only heard good things about Jamie and his time here.

“He will give our midfield a real attacking edge.”
