Kayleigh Louise Rankine, 19, of Blackness Road, admitted stealing the Emporio Armani T-shirts, worth £440, from JD Sports in the Overgate on Sunday. The court heard none of the shirts were recovered and defence solicitor Mike Short said she had sold them on for £80 per shirt. He said Rankine was taking legal highs to numb her mind from issues going on at home. Sheriff Richard McFarlane deferred sentence until September 10 for reports.
