Perthshire man filmed women’s bottoms in Dundee shops
ByAlan Wilson
A Perthshire man filmed women’s bottoms using his mobile telephone in shops in Dundee city centre, the sheriff court has heard.
Stephen Gordon Hendry, 41, followed three groups of unknown women, taking pictures and videos of their lower bodies, and was arrested after being spotted by a security guard who was working in the Wellgate Centre.
Hendry, of Ballintium, Blairgowrie, admitted that between September 1 and 22, at B&B Stores, Wellgate Centre, and in Wellgate Centre and Panmure Street, he behaved in a disorderly manner, followed unknown females and covertly recorded on a mobile phone or other mobile device, and took photographs and video footage of the lower body areas of the women, without their knowledge or consent, all to their alarm and committed a breach of the peace.
Sheriff McNair placed Hendry on a three-year community payback order and placed him on the sex offenders register for the same period.
