The 2015 Broughty Ferry charity calendar has been launched.
Ben Hirst’s photograph was selected to be used on the cover.
Ben’s photography has already caught the eye, and he was awarded a cheque for £100 for his calendar efforts.
Organised by Broughty Ferry Traders’ Association, proceeds from the sales are used to support charities and good causes in the area.
Group secretary Sandro Paladini said: “The Broughty Ferry Traders’ Association are delighted to announce that Ben Hirst has won first prize of £100 and his spectacular image of Broughty Ferry Sunburst, The Last of the Sunlight will be used as the cover image on the 2015 calendar.
“This is the second year that the Broughty Ferry Traders’ Association have produced a charity calendar using the superb photographs of the area submitted by entrants to our annual photographic competition.
“The standard of photography is outstanding and the calendar is a beautiful reminder of Broughty Ferry’s very attractive setting.”
The calendars are available for £9.99 from Eduardo Alessandro Studios, Gillies, McDonald Stationers and many other local shops, and Mr Paladini said 100% of the proceeds are used to support charities and good causes in Broughty Ferry.
