The Dundee out-of-hours GP service is moving from Wallacetown Health Centre to Kings Cross Health & Community Care Centre from Tuesday.
NHS Tayside say users will benefit from improved facilities as a result of the move, which was agreed in consultation with patients and public partners.
The out-of-hours GP service is open from 6pm until 8am each weekday and for 24 hours at weekends and on public holidays.
The service is by appointment only and can be accessed by calling NHS 24 on 111.
Dr Joyce Meikle, lead clinician for the out-of-hours service, said: “We have been planning this move to the Kings Cross Health & Community Care Centre for a long time and we have worked very closely with our partners, patients and the public to ensure it is a move which will benefit our patients and be as smooth as possible.
“The Kings Cross site is only one mile from Wallacetown and offers plenty of free parking and improved waiting and treatment areas.”
All other services provided at Wallacetown will be unaffected.
