A charity football match was held in Dundee on Sunday in aid of a Letham football coach who suffered a critical injury in Portugal.
Marc Baillie, known as Chippie, was celebrating his 40th with friends when he was involved in a serious fall that left him in a Portuguese hospital for five weeks.
He has since returned home and players from his former clubs, Letham Amateurs and Wellbank Amateurs, hosted a charity match to raise funds for Marc and his family.
Alan Scott, from Letham Amateurs, said: “Marc was in Portugal in a critical condition before being transferred to Ninewells about a month ago.
“Since then he’s been doing intensive rehab to get back on his feet again.
“He is in the Royal Victoria continuing his rehabilitation and things are going really well.
“He was a good servant to both us at Letham and latterly Wellbank and we all wanted to play the game and chip in with some money to help him.”
