A man has been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with alleged racist graffiti in Dundee.
Scores of messages targeting the Polish community have been spotted across the city over the past few months.
Some of the scribbles refer to “Nazi Polish”, while others say “all police are Polish” and “Tesco only hires the Polish”.
Even a church was targeted, with the statements “all priests are Polish” and “all cops are Polish” sprayed on to the Central Baptist Church in Bright Street in Lochee.
Other graffiti has been seen in the Hilltown, at Dundee railway station and on Kings Cross Road.
A police report read out at the Local Community Planning Partnership in Lochee said: “This is the same graffiti that has been seen across the city over recent months. This crime has been detected to a 43-year-old male.”
A Police Scotland spokeswoman added: “A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
“The man in question has not been charged, but the crime has been detected.”
