This year’s Dundee Literary Festival brought some of the finest writers around to the City of Discovery.
Writers who took part in October’s event have already shared their favourite words online but a new video shows them offering some invaluable advice both to would-be writers and the general public alike.
Bernard MacLaverty tells people to unclog their sinks as often as possible to avoid nasty smells.
Courier columnist Jim Crumley urges people never to write while drunk although James Robertson may disagree. He tells viewers to always make sure they have a second bottle of malt whisky to hand for when they finish the first.
The Dundee Literary Festival takes place in October each year. This year’s event including a host of top names including Michael Faber, Viv Albertine and James Naughtie.
The video was produced by Bonnie Brae Productions.
