A Dundee mother-of-two has become a poster girl for supermarket chain Lidl.
Caz Watson Tweeted about shopping in the supermarket in October and the company was so delighted with her praise of their fruit and vegetable selection that the quote is now being used on posters at 379 sites across the UK.
Her Tweet praised the value of the company’s fruit and vegetables.
Hmmm I may have gone overboard with my fruit and veg from @LidlUK #LidlSurprises pic.twitter.com/aKLOQxAsdL

However, she did not know the posters had been produced until a friend in Bolton contacter her to say he had seen her on a poster outside his local branch of the supermarket.
@Caz__Watson just been to @LidlUK and look who greeted me as I was reversing out of the car park! Love it!! pic.twitter.com/RcxOLfVP1B

Caz said: “I knew it was happening but I didn’t know when.
“When Lidl said they liked the tweet and asked can they use for a new marketing campaign I thought yeah OK, why not.”
Despite adorning posters the length and breadth of the country, Caz has not received any money from Lidl for using her Tweet.
“There’s no payment or free fruit and veg so everything is impartial and honest,” she said.
A spokesman for the supermarket said: “I can confirm this tweet has been featured in Lidl advertisements, which has been used on billboards at 379 sites across the UK.”
