The emergency services were called to a flat in Provost Road at around 1.15pm after reports of a disturbance. Despite the efforts of ambulance staff at the scene, the 50-year-old man was declared dead. A 57-year-old woman was taken into police custody and has now been formally arrested. She is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
