Youngsters at Menzieshill High School ignored the rain and donned their sunglasses for their summer-themed fund-raising fayre.
Pupils and staff raised almost £350 for Guide Dogs for the Blind by holding a shorts and shades day.
They also took part in a fancy dress parade and were treated to a celebration in the school canteen.
Radio Tay staff provided musical entertainment after one of the pupils won a Tayside Contracts competition earlier this year.
Lucky third-year pupil Shannon Chmylowskyj was picked in the firm’s city-wide school prize draw.
She won a disco and an afternoon of dancing for her school.
