Roads to close on Sunday for swimming pool electric works

The final phase of work to connect the electricity supply to the city’s new swimming pool will take place on Sunday.

Scottish and Southern Energy plan to carry out the work between 8am and 6pm, which will mean that Seagate will be closed eastbound between East Marketgait and Foundry Lane.

Blackscroft will also be closed to traffic between Seagate and its junction with Lower Princes Street while the work goes on.

The current traffic restrictions in Foundry Lane will remain in place until the final phase is complete.

Diversions via East Marketgait/East Dock Street will be signposted.
